IDEA: Make a room where there is a radio and you can broadcast a message to all players. Whether it runs out of batteries, doesn't give away what color you are (they have to take your word for it if you claim to be someone), it's an item that u can leave the room with, it takes awhiile to charge up when u arrive at room, etc. doesn't matter.
ONE STRESSFUL ASPECT: In this game as soon as thing dies or all players killed, instantly it comes up with a Victory or Defeat. Sometimes I want to know who Thing was after he dies, want to chat with the people about what happened without joining a new game and hoping those same people are there to ask them stuff, etc. A delay of the victory/defeat message by itself would make it look more professional.
IDEA: Include small (like 5%) chance for there to be two Things. Twins
IDEA: Have vehicles like a car to ride, it can run out of fuel or w/e and maybe do damage running into people hard.
IDEA: To give variety to the rooms, you can have a room with a campfire or a heater. It gives +0.2 to run/walk speed for 4 minutes as an incentive to go to particular places.
IDEA: Power outages, or perhaps Thing can damage electrical doodad in a room and cause lights to go out briefly. That way if you are in a group, and power goes out you will suspect Thing is not in group. Don't know if its better to have to go repair it to get light back on, or how low a vision radius you have without it. Flamethower could give extra light.
