Game Continued After Killing The Thing

So... after killing the Thing in Ragnov's "rape room"/one in, one way out room,we killed the Thing as it tried to escape. And we did. The game never ended. It went on until we decided to kamikaze the evac shuttle into the station (30 minutes later after killing the Thing...). That's when the game ended and we finally got "The Thing Is Dead".

Is that normal, or am I just slow with the news?

Alright, so to my knowledge, this has occured two other times. Usually it's involving molotovs when the Thing dies. It doesn't happen often and is a glitch.

You wouldn't happen to have a replay would you?

Trying to brainstorm possible ways this could occur.

Perhaps the Molotov was thrown out of existence at the same time as it exploded and the thing had like 1 hp? It woulda died by nothing then...

Perhaps also it died while burrow charging through molotov or something. I can see that happening.

I don't know, I haven't seen that before. Replay would be appreciated.

I think i have seen this about 3 or 4 times before Molotov existed in the game, andddd i just remembered!!!

If the thing changes from loss of control he does not become hostile, he becomes neutral like a marine and if killed the game does not end Unless ofc vic fixed it, which i doubt.

EDIT: yup just watched it, and that game lasted 20+ min longer than it had too :O funny stuff
its the control bar depleting that causes the bug.
