The issue is someone who gets Thing (like a noob) and doesn't realize they are thing can just theoretically sit in the group for a long time before randomly morphing and dying.
And actually, with the new consume and burn feature it has become much MUCH easier to impersonate (although hard still). I had a game where I impersonated 3 people throughout the game. I'm not revealing my strategies but think this way when impersonating: "That guy just returned, but ______ just happened so I know he isn't Thing."
Then when you are the Thing, have that exact thing play to your favour and make the marines think ______ happened. I only ran into a control issue once in three times and even then I still had a third left. What kind of deception do you do?

Yah, if you like to sit in a group and tell them to kill people then its very difficult. However, I usually just impersonate until someone is near a door, throw them out, and lock them out with me.

kinda hard to play deception when datasick just takes away anybody's attack for shooting the wrong marine....

There should be little orbs on the ground like items, that only thing can see and it refills ur control meter and they spawn every ____ secs/ mins.....problem solved that why Asians smart
