    i wont vote but i will say that if it is added the time that it takes for it to arrive should take 23 minutes then 2 minutes and it will start loading so you just need to stand in the general area with a ground decal of a circle for the area then the ship can launch at a random time from there on in the next 10 minutes this creates a chance for tking and for the thing to make a move to take down people

    I think the rescue ship should be implemented with maxime's idea of having 3 beacons which have to be stood on at the same time for a certain amount of time to call it.

    still it needs some randomness to it thats why i said what should be done so it wont be timed down to the second or else it will just be a camp fest either right away or right before it takes off

    For each rine in the game it takes 30 secs longer on the beacons, but it doesn't tell you how long you have to stand on them for and also it would need a third radio put in so they could coordinate when they are on it. this could also lead to miscommunication by the thing too if he got a hold of one.

    but not too far away or it will take for ever for people to get to the other beacons...here compromise how about you can radio people standing on other beacons even if they do not have a beacon Very Happy Razz

    i would want 3 beacons 1 bot right, 1 bot left, 1 top middle. Also theres a suggestion of 3 radios althought that would be confusing and complicated because you would need different colours per radio like when you use one your speech is red blue or green or you could have it so that if you step onto a beacon and type > before you chat that your chat would then be transmitted to the other 2 beacons again in colour and the colour of the text would corospond with the colour of each beacon spot to stand on.

    no different radio colors wouldn't be needed. however the beacons would show how many other ones are activated in front of them

    i wouldnt because if youre on the opposite side of the map know how much that would suck because that makes it unfair to specific people i would have it just have it always land in the middle u have 2 minutes to get there then within a set time frame for example at any point in the next 5 minutes the ship will take off with just a slight warning right before it does so its like "The Rescue Ship Will Now Take Off in 10 Seconds"

    but if it is random then the marines can't camp,,,,having it at two seperate places makes the marines split up a little more..I'm going to let vicboy handle specifics like that (btw room 14 is the room near the bigger rape room) it is fairly large and a diamond shape)

    nahh id like it in one room because if you have beacons the thing can just camp out one but it also means that marines can camp out the middle and if you give the thing a ability to see the beacons when someone stands on it so vision for just it that would make it hard to just call it right away

    what we havent discussed is what happens when the ship takes off do the marines just win or now is there a battle over the ship if the thing manages to get on i think a fight is more realistic but idk how that could be done

    ...no battle just thing can get aboard the ship in thing form (while its still on the ground) so marines must wait until its about to stay in the ship or else the thing can eat em...but they could just run out of the ship....thing must kill people in the ship////the people trying to get to the ship must maneuver around the thing to get to the ship

    what happens is when you enter the ship you enter a mini area where its harder to run away and the thing will auto transform and force the final battle between the two, the idea of a random locatioin is a good one, but the random location is selected from a list of just a few areas, ex: it picks one of three areas to land. you'll see when i post my map which i will do in a little bit.

    the ship must land in one spot (the middle) with a random time to take off within set parameters. The whole thing is the ship can save marines but once it arrives the thing has a chance to kill people heading for that destination and to kill more if he gets aboard it as it takes off and anyone left on the station loses, but if it spawns on the opposite side of the map as the thing when hes alone that completely sucks your ruining the chances for him to kill and making it dam easy on the marines the whole point of the game is co-operation so that the game DOESNT end so easily for marines idc if the game ends if its the same thing over and over with people rushing to summon the ship youre being completely unreasonable in your idea your making it easier on the marines to such a degree that its just plain stupid

    1. toss a random time is a good idea, but i think a random location from a fixed set of locations would be better, it would allow more balance, and when it lands it would ping the location,
    2. not like a random time, but a certain set amount of time till it comes for each player in the game, also the amount of time till it comes wouldn't be shown, but rather when you finally have been on the beacons a global announcement would appear in the directive chat area saying that a rescue ship has been dispatched, but would not let you know how long so you would still have no idea how long or where it'll land, giving the thing plenty of opportunities to eliminate his foes.

    14 people-30 minutes
    13 people-25 minutes
    12 people-25 min
    11 people-20 min
    10 ppl-20 min
    9 people-20 min
    8 ppl-20 min
    7-1=10 min

    or something like that (this is based on how many players were in at the start not how many players remain)

    it shouldn't be based off of start, because that is buggy in its own way(people will drop during loading and they will still show up as having been in the game.) but off of the amount that are still alive when it is summoned. this will cause people to think more about how many have died.
