LOL THAT POST MADE ME LAUGH HYSTERICALLY FOR 2 MINUTES STRAIGHT AHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAH. That was perfect. Thank you for making my day.

Vic, I believe he is referring to the pathing glitches that occur when trying to go through a door.. Which is not my domain at all. That's you guys. I simply work with doodad pathing and stuffs.

EDIT: And this pathing glitch thing? Its been around for years.

I did fix pathing issues... with doodads. If the pathing is a certain way with certain doodads you have to modify it and fuck with it a bit. Otherwise, a marine may not take the most efficient/ expected route when trying to move to a certain location. However, certain gates behave the same way and I can't do anything about it.

To fix the door pathing glitches, you/ Willu need to remove the door's pathing from the 'move' ability's equation. When you right click on the other side of a door, the game, while moving you, thinks that because the door is closed, it is a solid wall. It then tries to find you a more efficient way of getting there.

You guys need to fix it so that if you click behind a door, the 'move' equation thinks, "Hey, there's no door there, I can go that direction!". Just while doing so make sure you don't remove the ACTUAL pathing of the door or else people will be walking through them all willy nilly.

I love taping wrenches to my forehead. It helps me see farther during black outs and sandstorms, while aiding me in my quest to find a burrowed Thing! Wrenches are amazing.

The door pathing bug is nice, raises the skill cap a bit. I can blow up a door or two, chase you toward the 'trap' door, and if you panicked a bit too much and didn't take care of where you are clicking, you wind up wildly running back and forth until you get eaten. It's realistic.

Likewise, you can make it hard for me to get out of a zone and turn one half of a room into a rape zone using it.
