Remove All Admins?

The position of an admin is a responsibility not a privilege.

However, many players disagree to this and believe that it's in fact admins that actively ruin games. This has been a constant concern cried out by many credible Thing veterans such as Reeferfist and zakhennahr.

Therefore, I would like to suggest that we end admins' evil tyranny and replace it with a more systematic and consistent ruling.

All admins, except Vic (map-creator) and willu (contributor), will lose their admin power. In return, any player with over 10 player complaints who gamethrows and ruin games will be simply given a month ban. If they argue, they will be banned indefinitely.

I'd like to bring equality and fun game to every player and support the end of admins' tyranny as many poor souls have cried out. We must give them the ruling they need not the one they deserve.

Whatever keeps them from bitching I guess... having no admins will all of them grow thicker skin as well. Sucks to your asmar.

The player complaints need to be by 10 different people and 10 different instances with replays after the date of this being put into effect.
It'd be easier for trolls to get players banned than anything. They'll rile them up outside of a replay and get the player to actively seek them out and tk in the process.

Who cares what stupid little trolls like Reefer and Zak- say?
The complaints are because admins are doing their jobs, there have been many suggestions about ways to prevent them from doing what admins stop them from. None have been implemented nor discussed in too much detail. There was an attempt at a no tk feature but it didn't quite work did it?

Well. I do feel our current set of admins are too draconian in some ways (Not to say they're wrong, just a little harsh). I think that we should maintain some form of 'Player Council' if you will, that maybe the entire community could vote for, that could help decide what updates are chosen and such to mainstream the system and keep from being a cluster fuck. (They could also help Vic with deciding which players should be banned and such making the system efficient.)

That said, when the admin system is removed we NEED a self-correcting system, otherwise I do think things will get out of hand.
