Item 2. Make it so that people have to get a certain amount of marine points before they can opt in to be the thing. ex: they need 50 rine points.
Item 3. Open up different thing transformations. Make it so that when people get a certain number of thing points they can get new thing bodies.
Ex: For 5oo points they could get the zergling body which has less life and a little less attack, but regen starts faster and moves faster.
Or the roach which has more armor but moves slower, has less energy, and when burrowing not does health start regen immiadately, but he does have a stronger attack. The flame thrower is less effective on (but still more effective than a rifle), and grenades are more effective.
Infestor: has normal speed and lower attack, but higher energy and energy regen, and maybe a lower health(might be too underpowered though. Can cast spells such as fungal growth(does 0 damage but holds enemy in place, enemy can still attack though) and dopple ganger(while underground too), basically halucination but for thing.
hydra: Normal speed, lower health, attack is ranged(about 4 range)
Item 4. Relating to item 3. Make it so after they get their new body they choose which 2 or maybe up to 3 bodies they will use for that game. ex: i have zergling and normal body unlocked at start of game under thing transformation there is one more set of boxes to choose zergling or normal thing.(spamming y just takes you to normal thing mode) if they don't choose and they lose control they automatically get normal thing selected for them. They have to buy the extra transformation slot though with their points.
Item 5. rine bodies. same principle as thing bodies. some ideas:
rauder(stronger attack, also moves slower, has stim and door lock),
f-bat (uses less fuel per attack with the flamethrower, weaker attack with out flame, slower, but can stim with flame),
ghost (longer range, less life and health regen, higher energy and energy regen, no stim, little faster speed than rine at normal speed, or maybe cloak ability that works like things burrow in that when people get to close he can be seen, but hides from things radar, but can't attack while it's on)
medic (passively boosts health regen of people around him, has a weaker attack though and stimmming costs 5 life, but he has a higher health regen than the boosted health regen of other people.)
and finally the reaper ( weak attack, low life, higher movement speed, no stim, but can boost speed for energy, not attack though))
